Thomas "Tony" E. Dahl

Thomas "Tony" E. Dahl, age 98 of Elmore, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore with Pastor Robert Roettger officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 12 from 4-7 PM at Patton Funeral Home and continue one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Elmore.

Thomas lived a full life on his farm in Pilot Grove Township. He was an avid farmer and enjoyed working in the fields with his son and grandsons. He spent many years caring for the animals and his pets, dogs and cats. For several years, he worked for Green Giant/Seneca picking and hauling sweet corn and peas. His greatest joy was driving his “CAT” tractor helping with field work.

He is survived by his wife Stella of 77 years, his children; Deanna (Alan) Engelkes and Mark (Ronda), 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Casper and Palmer, 2 sisters-in-law and other relatives.
