Sharon Gladys Erichsrud

Sharon Erichsrud, 79 of Blue Earth passed away Wednesday April 15, 2020 at Mayo Health System in Mankato. There will be a private family burial and a celebration of life will be at a later date.

Sharon was born March 9, 1941 to Stanley and Gladys (Sandness) Johnson in Frost, MN. She grew up and graduated from Frost High School in 1959. During high school she worked at Tim’s Café. After graduation she went on to work at 3M in Fairmont. In October of 1960 she married the love of her life, Butch Erichsrud at United Lutheran Church in Frost. To this union, the couple was blessed with three children. The couple made their home in Blue Earth as Sharon worked and raised the kids. She worked at Peoples Savings & Loan in Blue Earth then at Albert Lea Savings & Loan where she was the bank manager. Years later they were bought out, so Sharon then went to work at the 1^st National Bank in Blue Earth. Sharon truly enjoyed her work. She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she thoroughly enjoyed helping in any capacity. She was truly a people person!

Sharon will be missed by all that knew her but especially her devoted husband Butch; children, Beth (Harvey) Ingberg of Cambridge, MN, Shelly (Brad) Reipke of Richmond, VA and Mark (Heather) Erichsrud of St. Michael Albertville, MN. Grandchildren; Meghann Erichsrud, Alayna (Jeremy) Tovson, Carly (Adam) Erichsrud-Birr, Izzie & Piper Erichsrud. Great-grandchildren; Conner Mayer, Vera Tovson, Alexa Harris and Nickolis Titus.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
