Ruth Agnes Hanisch

Ruth Agnes Hanisch, age 98, of Pine Island formerly of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at St Mary's Hospital in Rochester Memorial visitation will be held 5:00pm-7:00pm on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth.  Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.com She was born May 31, 1920, at Omaha, NE, the daughter of John and Emma (Sundstrom) Larson. She went to the University of Nebraska, Omaha from 1938-1941. On April 23, 1943 she married Dr. Edward Carl Hanisch Jr. Ruth is survived by her son, Russell Hanisch of St. Cloud, grandchildren Malaya Hanisch, Jason (Sarah) Willette, Eric (Alicia) Willette and 3 great-grandchildren Zayden, Jaycee and Vaida Willette, son-in-law Stephen Willette of Blue Earth. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Dr. Edward Carl Hanisch Jr., daughter Paula Willette, parents, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.
