Rumualda Juarez Becerra

On October 13^th, Rumualda, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at St. Mary’s in Rochester surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at Patton Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service.

Rumualda was born on February 7^th,1957 to Faustina and Cecilio Juarez in Acapulco, Mexico. She was the fourth of fourteen children. Being one of the oldest, she would help take care of her younger siblings while still going to school. She had a daughter in 1974 and in 1975 she met Angel Becerra. They married in 1977 and would then go on to have four more daughters together. They would work side by side together in tailoring and tapestry for about ten years. By 1999 they moved to Blue Earth, MN where they made it their home for 24 years.

She was a kind loving person who always had a smile on her face and would always welcome others into her home. Some of her hobbies included cooking, fishing, dancing, and tending to her flowers. However, her favorite things to do were spend time with her family and spoil her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are her parents Faustina and Cecilio Juarez, her loving husband Angel, and her daughters, Janet (David), Heydi, Nelly, Karina, and Coraima (Will). Also left to remember her are her grandchildren; Ivan, Isaac, Osiris, Monse, Angel Ferando, Angeles, Hector, Dayna, David, Denise, Daduel, Adan, and Caiden, 9 great-grandchildren, 11 siblings, and many nephews and nieces.

Rumualda is preceded in death by her brother Gabino, mother-in law Micaela, sister Wenseslada, and nephews Jorge, Neftaly Sr, Juan Francisco, and Kayla Isabel.
