Richard Dewanz

Richard C. Dewanz age 88 formerly of Blue Earth passed away Saturday September 25, 2021 at Abbott Northwestern in Minneapolis. A graveside service will be held Friday October 8, 2021 at 2pm at Calvary Cemetery in Blue Earth with military honors. Fr. Gregory Parrott will officiate. Richard was born September 13, 1933, the son of Michael and Martina (Klement) Dewanz, in Blue Earth. He graduated from BEHS in 1951. He went on the to serve in the US Army in Munich, Germany. He later retired from the US Postal Service in Minneapolis. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Ambrose and Francis and sister Donna McCormack.
