Ramona "Mona" Kay Carroll

On July 31, 2023 Ramona “Mona” Carroll passed away peacefully at the age 75 after a battle with Cancer. Memorial services will be held at 11AM on Friday, August 11, 2023 at SSPP Catholic Church in Blue Earth. A time for visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Mona was born on March 15, 1948.  Her parents were Orville and LeaAnn Beckmann of Wells.  On January 7, 1967 Mona married the Love of her Life Richard “Dick” Carroll at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church in Wells.  Dick & Mona were married 56 years.  In addition to raising Richard’s two younger brothers Bill and Jim Carroll they had two children Amy & Brad.   

Mona was an exceptional wife, mother, and friend. She cared deeply for her family and friends. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help and regularly put others before herself.  She loved spending time with family, cooking, baking, reading, and crocheting. 

Mona is survived by her loving husband Richard Carroll of Blue Earth, Daughter Amy (Mark) Sathoff of Dolliver, IA, Son Bradley (Amy) Carroll of Mechanicsville, VA.  Her Grandchildren, Ryan Meehan of Granite Falls, MN, Kayla Meehan of Clarkesville, TN, Bradley (Justine) Carroll Jr. of Richmond, VA, Krystal Sathoff and Lakyn (Josh) Bremer of Fairmont.  Her Great Grandchildren Khloe, Kenzi and Ava.  Her Sister Dawn (Steve) Navara of Wells, MN and Brother Jim (Donna) Beckmann of Wells, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by Grandson Jon-Jon Carroll, her parents Orville and LeaAnn Beckmann, Brothers Earl Beckmann and Baby Beckmann, Aunts Alice LaMont, LaVaun Schroeder and Arnetta Randall, Uncles Art and “Butch” VanHorn.
