Lois Gretillat

June 8, 1938 — July 25, 2022

Lois Gretillat, age 84 of Blue Earth passed away at her home July 25, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 1PM Wednesday August 24th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth with Rev. Michael Klatt officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church and burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Elmore.

Lois Mae was born June 8, 1938 in Guckeen to Albert and Myrtle (Krosch) Gretillat. She was the oldest of three children. She attended school in Blue Earth, Huntley and East Chain and spent most of her adult life in Blue Earth at the ELM Homes. She worked for MRCI for over 25 years. Lois enjoyed going to county fairs, 4th of July celebrations, participating in Special Olympics softball, and was an ambassador for People First. She also looked forward to celebrating her birthday every year and had a special doll collection she was proud of.

Lois will be missed dearly by her brother Donald Gretillat of Blue Earth and the staff and friends she made at St. Luke’s day program and the ELM Home.

She is preceded in death by her parents and infant sister Dorothy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
