Leo Paul Killion

Leo P. Killion, age 92 died Tuesday September 25, 2018. Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday September 29 2:30 PM at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Easton. Leo was born August 27, 1926 in Walnut Lake Township, MN to Louis and Rose (Nienhaus) Killion. He grew up on the family farm before entering the US Army in 1951, where he served during the Korean War. He returned home in 1953 and continued farming until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, family gatherings and taking bus trips with his sister Arlene. In 2006, Leo moved to Blue Earth where he resided until his death. He is survived by his brother; Lawrence (Alice) Killion of Mankato, sister; Sister Eleanor Killion, M.M. of Hawaii as well as many nieces and nephews. Leo is preceded in death by his parents and his sister; Arlene Killion.
