Lee Allan Wagner

March 20, 1962 — June 30, 2021

Lee Allan Wagner, age 59, of Minneapolis, previously of Blue Earth, passed away on June 30, 2021. Lee was born on March 20th, 1962, youngest of four boys, to Wayne and Genevieve Wagner in Blue Earth MN. He grew up in Blue Earth and graduated from Blue Earth High School where he enjoyed participating in many sports. His love for sports continued throughout his life; going to Wild games with his daughter Emma, and playing softball with his friends for many years. His life was filled with many passions; a love of music, movies and an innate talent for storytelling brought joy to everyone he knew. To him, there was no greater happiness than spending time with family and friends at a lake house or concert. After high school, Lee wrestled for Rochester Community College before attending the University of Wisconsin - River Falls where he met his future wife Lisa. His wonderful way with people helped him excel in a full career in sales.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 34 years, Lisa Krantz Wagner of Minneapolis, MN; daughter, Emma Jane Wagner of Minneapolis; brothers John (Jessica) of Glenwood, MN, Bob of Zumbrota, MN, Jim Wagner (Carla) of Blue Earth, MN; Father-in-Law, Jim Krantz of Alexandria, MN; Sisters-in-Law, Lori Broze (Tom) of Savage, MN, Kelli Adolph (Tom) of Maple Grove, MN; Brother-in-Law, Jim Krantz (Andee) of Independence MN; Nieces, Mandi Swanson (Dave), Breanna Welke (Brian), Libby Brever (Nate), Taylor Weerts, Kelsie Garry (Tim), Allie Esser (Eric), Rylee Wagner; Nephews, Tate Broze, Austin (Channing), Erik, Mason Adolph, Zackary Krantz, Austin Wagner (Amanda), Jake Wagner; 23 great nieces and nephews; and many relatives and good friends. Preceded in death by parents, Wayne and Genevieve Wagner; Mother-in-Law Kay Krantz; Sister-in-Law Chris Wagner; Brother-in-Law Jason Krantz; ]Nephew Dan Weerts and Great-nephew Zeke Harrison Garry.

Services will be held at 2pm on July 15, 2021 at MTS Farm and Events, 38826 95th Street, Blue Earth, MN 56013. A time for visitation will be held the night prior at Patton Funeral Home from 5-7pm and one hour before service. Private family burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Blue Earth.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Lee Wagner Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior in the athletics program at Blue Earth Area High School in Lee’s memory.
