Leanna Casias, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished daughter, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, at the age of 37, with her family by her side, after a long and courageous seven‑year battle with cancer. Born on September 15, 1988, to Stephen Powell and Marie Maksymik, Leanna lived a life defined by resilience, kindness, and a deep, unwavering love for her family.
On May 30, 2014, Leanna married her husband, Jason, beginning a partnership built on trust, laughter, and shared dreams. Their marriage was a source of strength for both of them, carrying them through life’s joys and challenges with unity and devotion. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and purpose, a place where love was always at the center.
Leanna’s greatest joy was being a mother. She poured her heart into raising her four children—Alexis, Abigail, Nathan, and Dominik—guiding them with patience, humor, and a gentle spirit that made them feel endlessly supported. Her children were her world, and she was theirs: a steady presence, a comforting voice, and the heart of their family. She was also honored to be considered a big sister to Cassandra and Nicole.
Throughout her seven‑year fight with cancer, Leanna showed remarkable courage. She faced each day with determination and grace, refusing to let illness overshadow her love for her family or her hope for the future. Her strength inspired everyone who walked beside her.
Leanna will be remembered for her generosity, her quiet humor, and the way she made others feel seen and valued. Her legacy lives on in her husband, her children, her parents, her family, and the countless lives she touched with her compassion.
A visitation will be held 5-8PM Monday December 29 at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth. Online condolences can be left at www.pattonfh.com
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Casias benefit account at First Bank - Blue Earth would be greatly appreciated.
