Kathleen A. Greenfield

Kathleen “Kas” Greenfield, age 83, of Bricelyn, MN, went to meet Jesus on Sunday, February 11, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth at 11 AM on Monday, February 19, 2024. Visitation will be held one hour prior to mass. The burial will take place in Clayton Cemetery.

Kathleen was born on January 16, 1941, to Orlando and Marjorie (Hynes) Ackerman. Derald Greenfield and Kathleen Ackerman were married 65 years ago at St. Casimir's Catholic Church in Wells, MN. To them, five children were born. The dash – between 1941 and 2024 – were good years of raising a family and enjoying life.

Left to remember her are Kas’ husband Derald; children, Kimberly (Deb), Kevin (Tammy), Donald (Randi), Theresa (Steve), and Maria (Dave); grandchildren, Nick, Phil, Dane, Maddie, Tanya (Nik), Alicia, and Chaela; great-granddaughter, Mira; siblings, Teita, Meem, and Greg; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Those gone before her are siblings, Lonnie, Phil, Joel, Judy, Mike, and Rick; grandson, Ryle, and son-in-law Rod.

May the holy angels carry her into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Amen.
