Janice Diane Ehrich

Jan was born December 28, 1945 to Earl and Gertrude (Simmons) Thompson in Buffalo Center, IA. She graduated from Lakota in 1963. From there she attended vocational school in Mankato and went to work for the bank in Elmore. It was there that she met and married the love of her life, Larry.

She and Larry were united in marriage December 18, 1965 at Shiloh Lutheran Church. Together they raised two children; Jeff and Nicole.

Jan worked at Minn/Iowa Agency for 30 years. In her free time, she was fond of puzzles, books and making doilies, but nothing brought her more joy and satisfaction than spending time with her family and friends.

Jan is survived by her children; Jeff (Sharon) Ehrich of Green Isle and Nicole Hagedorn (Patrick Glimsdal) of Frost. Seven grandchildren; Caleb, Tamara, Kyle, Teresa, Aaron, Cole and Greyson. Brother; Philip Thompson, sister; Cyndy Kauffman, brothers-in-law; Duane (Joyce) Ehrich, Loren (Cherrice) Ehrich, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry, parents, sister; Mary (LeRoy) Richardson, brother-in-law; Gail Kauffman, sister-in-law; Leslie Thompson, her mother and father-in-law; Lawrence and Eleanor and two nieces.
