David Ray Weringa

David “Dave” Ray Weringa, 46, of Elmore, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2019 after a long battle with leukemia.

Dave was born on March 6, 1973 in Blue Earth, MN. He graduated from Granada-Huntley-East Chain High School in 1991.

Dave is survived by his children, Briannon (25) of Worthington, MN, and Stendsay (17) of Elmore, MN; his parents, Thomas and Dawn Weringa of Elmore, MN; brother, Danny Weringa and very special sister-in-law, Hohni Weringa of Buffalo Center, IA; sisters, Dayna Price (Andy) of Lakota, IA, and Tanya Laudenbach (Mark) of Buffalo Center, IA; and nieces and nephews, Tanner, Tiah, Kelsi, Kaden, Lauren, and Landen.

There will be no funeral services for Dave. At his request, he would like a celebration of life in his honor on October 12, 2019 at 12pm. Dave’s celebration of life will be held at the Minn Iowa Golf Course, 2346 US-169, Elmore Township, Minnesota. Your presence is your present.
