Connie Renee was born February 14, 1942 in Dickinson, ND to Andrew and Helen (Gunkel) Lindbo. She was the middle of five children and graduated from Belfield High School in 1960. After high school, she went to Waldorf College and studied to be a parish secretary. As fate would have it, she was offered a job at the Frost school where she met and married the love of her life, Roger Shure. They married on July 29, 1963 and they were blessed with two beautiful daughters. In 1969, they moved to Blue Earth and then in 1976 they moved to the farm and called it home for the next 45 years.  Connie worked a few different jobs before starting a career in banking around 1972 helping many people finance their homes in the community.  She retired after 40 years and made many lifelong friendships with her co-workers.

Connie was a very happy, positive person. She loved to joke around and always had a smile on her face no matter the situation. She was involved in the community and also enjoyed reading, quilting, sewing, golf, painting, watching movies and sports, and playing cards. Her grandchildren were her world, and she was always sure to attend as many of their activities as she could.

Left to cherish such wonderful memories are her husband Roger, daughters Cindy Shure (David Barthel) and Mandi Jo (Wayne) Simon, four grandchildren: Nicholas Shure, Zachary Shure, Payton Simon and Makayla Simon. Her siblings: Elliot (Sodie) Lindbo, Rodney (Janet) Lindbo, Karen (Duane) Davis and LaRae Tschetter as well as many other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Andy and Helen, parents-in-law Martin and Winnie Shure, sister-in-law Helen Lindbo and brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Sandra Shure.
