Betty Jean Fenske

Betty Fenske, age 95 of Blue Earth passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at United Hospital District. Memorial services will be held at 11 am on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Hope United Methodist Church, with Rev. Lee Miller officiating. A time for visitation will be held prior to services at the church, beginning at 9:30 am.

Betty was born on April 28, 1930 in Colorado Springs, CO. to Eugene and Marjorie Brown. She was the youngest of four children. On July 17, 1948 she was united in marriage to Albert Fenske in Denver, CO. They soon moved to Blue Earth, MN. To this union, three children were born, one son and two daughters.

Betty and Al farmed in the Blue Earth area for 43 years. Betty was an active partner, operating machinery, helping with livestock and all phases of farming.

Those who celebrate Betty's life and mourn her passing include: daughter Patricia and husband Merrill Smith, daughter Judith and husband Allen Prestegard, 5 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 step great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Ronald Fenske, wife Anna, and nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, son, Frederick, her parents, her in-laws, 2 brothers, a sister and brother and sister-in-law.

Memorials are preferred to St Luke's Auxiliary, Hope United Methodist Church or UHD Hospice.
