***UPDATE***

Dearest Friends and Neighbors,

Your outpouring of love and sympathy after Anna Mae's death overwhelmed and strengthened us, and your stories have kept her memory alive.

Since we did not get to see any of you in person, we would love to have you join us for a memorial visitation from 1-3PM on Saturday May 14 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth. A committal service will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

We can’t wait to see you!

Anna Mae (Ristau) Erichsrud, age 81 of Blue Earth died December 26, 2020 at Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato.

Anna Mae was born to George and Mabel (Schewe) Moehring on April 17, 1939 in Easton, MN. She graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1957.

She was united in marriage to Theodore Ristau on April 12, 1958. Together they were blessed with four children, raising their family on a farm southwest of Blue Earth and enjoyed 32 years of marriage before Ted’s death in November 1990. She and Alan Ericshrud were united in marriage on January 26, 1995. Together they enjoyed horse racing, rodeos and traveling to visit friends and family. Alan died in 2011.

Anna Mae was a long-time member of the Legion Auxiliary and was President for a term. She was a devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church serving on numerous committees over the years and was also a part of the Lutheran Women Missionary League. When she wasn’t helping on the farm and tending to the children, she worked seasonally for Green Giant as a truck router for over 30 years.

She cherished her many lifelong friendships and treasured spending time and keeping in touch with all them. She loved her flower and vegetable gardens, canning, reading, sewing and cooking/baking for her family. She was famous for her scotcheroos which were treasured and devoured by her children and grandchildren.

Left to hold such dear memories close to their hearts are her children; Bruce (Sherry) Ristau, Davenport, IA; Mark (Sharon) Ristau, Blue Earth, MN, Susan (Paul) Honken, Webster, MN and Karen (Gary) Mau, Winnebago, MN.
