Glenn Arlie Wells

Glenn Arlie Wells, age 88, of Blue Earth, MN, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2017. Funeral Service will be at 11AM on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Blue Earth, MN with Pastor Jeanette Bidne presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth, MN. Online condolences may be left at www.pattonfh.com.Glenn was born on June 25, 1928 in Rake, Iowa. He later moved to Blue Earth, MN and graduated from Blue Earth high school in 1946. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army and on September 18, 1949 he married Blanche Northwick. Together they had five children. Glenn served as a Blue Earth alderman from 1962-1966. He was mayor of Blue Earth from 1966-1969. He served on the Trinity Lutheran Church Board. Glenn was a very community and civil service oriented individual.Glenn is survived by his five children, Geary (Cindy), Brian (Terri), Craig (Linda), all of Blue Earth, Jan (Alan) Mino of Crystal Lake, IL, and Kristine (Scott) Nelson of Andover, MN; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.Glenn is preceded in death by his loving wife, Blanche; his parents; and brother, Verne.
