JANET LEE TWEDT, age 84, of Frost, died Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Parkview Care Center in Wells. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 10:00 AM, at Bethany Lutheran Church in rural Frost, with Rev. Arne Halbakken officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Lutheran Cemetery rural Frost.Visitation time will be 5:00 7:00 PM, Friday, January 22, 2016 at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth, and one hour before service at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comJanet was born August 21, 1931, in Kiester, MN, the daughter of Chester and Violet (Thompson) Ozmun. She lived in Kiester where she attended school. On April 13, 1952 she married Marion Husby Twedt in Kiester, MN. Janet was a homemaker and assisted Marion on the farm and with his seed business. She loved to bake and crochet and spend time with her children and grandchildren. Janet''s faith was important to her, she enjoyed taking part in church activities and events. In more recent years Marion and Janet enjoyed their time in their motorhome, wintering in Texas. They loved spending summers with family and friends.Janet is survived by daughters, Mary (Duane) Evans of Blue Earth, Sarah (Steve) Wilson of Lakeville, sons, Larry (Barb) Twedt of Frost, Garry Twedt of Winnebago, grandchildren, Amy(Brian) Schonborn, Katy (Jason) Grovom, Jared (Laura) Evans, Sydney (fianc Rob Clatterbuck) Wilson, Hannah, Micah, Joshua & Mariah Twedt, great- grandchildren, Katlyn, Luke & Halle Schonborn, Blake, Brett, Bennett, Livy Grovom, sister Nancy Caruth, of Blaine, MN, uncle Dale Thompson, of Wells, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Marion, infant son, Paul Twedt, and her parents.
