Elaine Elizabeth Hoppe, 86, of Blue Earth went to be with her Lord and Savior April 22, 2016 at the St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center of Blue Earth.Memorial service will be 10:30 AM Saturday May 7, 2016 at Shiloh Lutheran Church of Elmore. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery of Elmore. Online condolences www.pattonfh.comShe was born August 29, 1929 in Pilot Grove Township, to John R. and Sarah E. (Lyon) Stewart. She attended school district 46, and graduated from Elmore High School in 1947. After graduation, Elaine attended De Lyles School of Hairdressing in Fairmont.On March 14, 1948 Elaine married Donald H. Hoppe and together raised their four children; Richard, James, Valerie and Douglas.Elaine will be remembered for her love and devotion for her family and friends, and her daily walk with the Lord.She is survived by her children; Richard (Cheri) Hoppe of Cerritos, CA, James (Shirley) of Watertown, SD, Valerie (Thomas) Perrizo of Mapleton, and Douglas (Sandra) Hoppe of Eagan; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grand-children; siblings, John C. (Marilyn) Stewart and Kenneth J. (JoAnn) Stewart; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Stewart, Lorraine Stewart and Evelyn Godfredson; with many nieces and nephews.Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years, Donald; brothers, Harry and Robert Stewart; grandma, Lygia Stewart; brother-in-law, Ed Godfredson, Lloyd Hoppe and Wilford Hoppe.In Lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Interfaith Caregivers, Hospice, Shiloh Lutheran Church or Grace Christian School of Mankato.
