Joseph Henry Collins

Collins, Joseph Henry, age 36, of Winnebago, MN passed away on July 11, 2016. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 2PM at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, with Rev. Michael Roys officiating. Visitation begins at 12PM, Sunday 17, 2016, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th St. in Blue Earth. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.com.Joe was born on April 21, 1980 to Gene and Susan Collins in Blue Earth, the youngest of three children. He was raised in Winnebago and attended Blue Earth Area schools. After schooling, Joe went on to become an accomplished welder. He worked for Hewitt Docks in Nicollet, MN as a lead welder. Joe got along with everyone. He always made time to spend with family and friends. Most importantly, his son Owen. Forever and always Joe reminded his son, Owen that they are best friends.Joe is preceded in death by his daughter, McKayla Lynn; and father, Gene.Joe is survived by his loving son, Owen; mother, Susan; sister, Christina Schimel; brother, Benjamin (Tonya); grandmother, Valeria Stauffer; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, in whom he all loved.Memorials preferred.
