Vera Urban

VERA MARIE URBAN, age 86, of Blue Earth, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Parkview Care Center in Wells. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at 2:00 PM, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 305 E 5th St, Blue Earth, MN, with Rev. Wes Hafner officiating and visitation beginning at 1:00pm Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comVera was born April 22, 1930 in Fairmont, MN to Frank and Anna (Tjietje) Eversman. She was married to Leonard Urban on September 10, 1948. Vera worked in the food service industry for many years and owned the 220 Caf in Blue Earth until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, camping, bingo and was a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and American Legion Auxiliary. Vera is survived by son DuWayne Urban and partner Chris of Minneapolis, daughter, Karen (Dennis) Osmundson of Blue Earth, son, Don (Marty) Urban of Waseca and son Darrel Urban of Carlisle, Iowa, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild along with many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 1 nephew, 1 niece and 1 grandson, 3 sisters-in-law and 3 brothers-in-law.
