Eileen Harriet Krinke, 87, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Foxwood Springs Assisted Living Center, Raymore, MO. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Karl Yahr officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comEileen was born February 12, 1929, in Faribault County, Brush Creek Township, MN. Her parents were Gerhard and Bernice Anderson of MN. Eileen was raised in Bricelyn Township, MN, graduating Bricelyn High School in 1946. Afterwards she attended Mankato Community College. She had a varied career in Minnesota, working for Wilson and Company in Albert Lea, Co-op Corporation in Blue Earth, Green Giant in Le Sueur and Enterline & Son in Blue Earth.On June 6, 1948, she married Myron Krinke, moving shortly thereafter to Kansas City, MO. There they bought the house they would live in for over 50 years, and where they would raise their four children. In Kansas City, Eileen worked for City Bond and Mortgage the Raytown School District, Parkview Gem and Kmart, retiring in the early 1990s.Eileen loved piano music, and took pleasure in playing. She also enjoyed traveling to visit family, including trips to Hawaii, California, Arizona and Minnesota. Active in her church, Eileen was a member of the Lutheran Women Missionary League (LWML). In her spare time she also liked to play dominos and read Agatha Christie novels. A strong and compassionate woman, she is loved dearly by all who knew her. Eileen is survived by her brother Lester Anderson (Lois Kayzung), and sister Bonnie (Gordy Weum); her children Terrin (Laurel Letts), Tom (Jackie Guest), Victoria (Vicki) Krinke and Jennifer (Mike Scrivener); her grandchildren Jon (Amy Landsberg) and Sean Krinke (Maria Tozzi), Tommy (Stacey Guynn) and Danny Krinke, Lisa (Danny Vachalek) and Jason Scrivener; and her great grandchildren, Aubry, Jaxon, Bryce and Tevin Krinke.Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Gerhard and Bernice Anderson; her husband Myron and her daughter Deborah Ann.
