Sadie Margaret Ehrich, 96, of Blue Earth passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the St. Luke''s Care Center in Blue Earth. Sadie was born September 2, 1919 to Edward and Alma (Reinke) Gesche in Elmore Township. She was baptized September 12, 1919, and confirmed on May 20, 1934 at St. John''s Lutheran Church of Elmore by pastor M.C.A. Mueller. Sadie graduated from Elmore High school in 1938 as well as the Minnesota School of Business that same year.On September 14, 1941 Sadie married Harold W. Ehrich at St. John''s Lutheran of Elmore Minnesota. Together they had two children, Dean and Nancy. She gladly served as Harold''s unofficial hired hand for all of their farming years together!Sadie was active in church (St. John''s and St. Paul''s), taught Sunday school, was involved with the Ladies Aid, and a 4-H leader.She enjoyed Gods creation and beauty in nature, especially trees, flowers and birds. Sadie was seen walking the halls of St. Luke''s, and around Blue Earth for many years. Sadie was always willing to bake goods for friends and family along with sending cards, create sequence banners during the winters, and scrapbooks. She loved spending time with her three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Sadie is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lee (Dion) Peterson of Blue Earth; grandchildren Aaron (Lisa) Peterson, Darin (Joy) Peterson and Dustin (Melissa) Peterson; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Ethan, Abbigail, Danica and Bennett.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Ehrich; son, Dean Ehrich; and brother, Freeman Gesche.Memorials are preferred to St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center of Blue Earth.
