Judith (Judy) Bussinger

JUDITH (JUDY) BUSSINGER, age 66, of Blue Earth, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD after a long, hard battle. Her courage will continue to inspire all of those close to her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015, at 2:00 PM, at Hope United Methodist Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Russ Jacobsen officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 5:00pm-7:00pm, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth, and 1 hour before the service at the church. Judy was a lifelong resident of Blue Earth where she attended high school. Judy met and married Michael Bussinger on September 4, 1970. Prior to Judy''s retirement, she worked in the kitchen at the Blue Earth Area High School for many years. During this time she raised 3 daughters whom she supported unconditionally. From these 3 daughters came her greatest joy in life, 6 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Mike Bussinger of Blue Earth, daughters, Lynn (Dan) Hledik of Tucson, AZ, Amy Stelter of Blue Earth , Lori (Tim) Grathwohl of East Chain, grandchildren, Alex Mehrhof, Courtney (Fianc Ted Mittelstadt) Mehrhof, Jordan & Logan Stelter, Gavin Bussinger, and Maia Grathwohl, siblings Bill (Jeanette) Hanson of Blue Earth, Barb Tischer of Blue Earth, Joanne Boettcher of Blue Earth, Nancy (Elwood) Sahr of Bricelyn, Chuck Hanson of AZ , Dennis (Traci) Hanson of Elmore, Becky (Bob) Spencer of Blue Earth.She was preceded in death by her parents.
