Margaret G. Jacobson, age 84, of Blue Earth, died Sunday, January 5, 2014, at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dr. Mark Wilms officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 9:30 AM until service time at the church on Saturday. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Blue Earth is assisting the family with the arrangements. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comMargaret was born February 28, 1929, in Winnebago, the daughter of Harold C. and Nellie I. (Gibson) Roe. She was raised in Winnebago and moved to Fairmont as a teenager where she graduated from Fairmont High School in 1947. She was married to Darrel D. "Jake" Jacobson on April 8, 1950. Margaret was a para-professional with Assisi Homes and later Elm Homes for many years. She enjoyed doing puzzles and painting, especially natural outdoor settings. Her family was of the most importance to her and her greatest joy came from supporting her kids and grandson in their lives and all family gatherings.Margaret is survived by her daughter, Teri (Mark) Nelson of Blue Earth, son, Craig Jacobson of Nashville, TN, daughter, Diane Jacobson and husband Kim Goodrich of Blue Earth, son, Scott Jacobson of Lincoln, NE, brother, Noel "Bud" (Lois) Roe of Alexandria, grandson-Jesse McInturff, one brother-in-law and several sisters-in-law.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Darrel in 1988 and two brothers, Richard "Dick" Roe and Donald Roe.
