JOYCE A FUCHS, age 70, of Blue Earth, died Sunday, February 2, 2014, at St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Wesley Hafner officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 4:00-7:00pm Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth, and 1 hour before the service at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comShe was born November 2, 1943, in Winnebago, MN, the daughter of Earl and Jessie (Dennis) Pettit. She graduated from Winnebago High School in 1961. She married Randy L. Fuchs November 17, 1973 in Winnebago. Joyce spent most of her life helping her husband with the work on their dairy farm. She helped with bailing hay, walking beans, lawn care, house work, and 3 meals a day for her family. Sundays were family days and most of all she enjoyed spending time with them.The past 10 years Joyce and Randy had many adventures away from the farm, visiting friends, site seeing and shopping. Together they rode on the Harley or in the Mustang where ever the road would take them.She is survived by her husband, Randy Fuchs of Blue Earth, son, Damon (Pamela) Larson of LA, daughter, Stacy (Adam) Hearn of Blue Earth, daughter, Shawn Fuchs of Blue Earth, brother, Donald (Carol) Pettit of Lake Butler, brother, Raymond (Judy) Pettit of Lake Butler, sister, June (Glen) Domes of Matheson, CO.She was preceded in death by her infant son Darrin Larson, and parents.
