Marguerite L. "Middy" Thomas age 69, of Blue Earth, died peacefully Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Pathstone Living in Mankato, Mn. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth. Visitation will beFriday, May 16, 2014 , 3:00 PM 7:00 PM at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Blue Earth, and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Web condolences may be left at www.pattonfh.com She was born July 22, 1944, in Blue Earth, the daughter of Ferdinand "Fred" and Edith "Lorraine" (Daly) Kraft. She was raised in Blue Earth where she was a 1962 graduate of Blue Earth High School. She earned her LPN from the St. Mary''s Nursing School in Rochester. Middy also worked at Gartzke''s Greenhouse for 17 years and had been the Director of the Blue Earth Senior Center the past 13 years. The senior center was a great fit for her as she had a gentle, caring way with most everyone. Middy was a very active, lifetime member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister and prepared funeral lunches with the CCW for many years. Her greatest joys were helping others and raising her boys. Middy is survived by her sons: Tony (Candice) Thomas of Denver, Colorado, Eric (Dawn) Thomas of Mankato, Andrew Thomas of Mankato, her brother, Dan (Sherry) Kraft of Mapleton, brother, John (Kathy) Kraft of Ham Lake, her sister,~in,~law, Judy Kraft of Mankato and five grandchildren, Azrio, Jackson, Mitchell, Jillian and Cassidy and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother- Frank Kraft.
