Myrl D. Bell, age 92, of Blue Earth, died Saturday, May 17, 2014, at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dr. Mark Wilms officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be one hour prior to services at the church. She was a lifetime Blue Earth area resident where she attended rural District 29 school. She was married to Marvin W. Bell on July 16, 1940 in Blue Earth. Myrl was a homemaker and raised two children. She had also worked at J.C. Penny''s in Blue Earth for 19 years. She enjoyed yard work & gardening, fishing trips up north, baking and playing cards. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth and was a family oriented person who will be greatly missed.Myrl is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Wendell) Schock of Rapid City, South Dakota, her son, Larry (Linda) Bell of Ceylon, her sisters in law: Evelyn Jacobson of Guckeen, Jean Jacobson of Lake Lillian, Wilma Jacobson of Canby, Anita (Harold) Ubben of Lakota, Iowa, her brother in law, Homer (Evelyn) Bell of Guckeen, five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, five step-great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marvin in 2012, brothers: Ray, Virgil, Darrell, Earl, Perlin, Alvin & Donald Jacobson and sisters: Pearl Hubert, Arvella Mineer and Loretta Rosal.
