EVELYN H JACOBSON, age 88, of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at United Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dr. Mark Wilms officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 5:00-7:00pm Friday, August 29, 2014, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth, and 1 hour before the service at the church. On August 28, 1948, she married Alvin "Pete" Jacobson at Welcome. They farmed at rural Guckeen all of their lives until retiring in 2003.She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, VFW Auxiliary, she loved baking, canning, making kringle, playing cards, jig saw puzzles, and most of all spending time with her family.She is survived by her son, Mike (Joann) Jacobson of Blue Earth, grandson, Nathan (Hani) Jacobson of St. Cloud, granddaughter, Sara (Matt) Theede of New Richland, 5 great grandchildren Gabriel, Leyla, and Elijah Jacobson, and Elise and Nora Theede.She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother Arnold Daleske.
