Earl A. Walker, age 88, of Winnebago, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 10:30 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dr. Mark Wilms officiating. Visitation time will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comEarl was born March 28, 1926, in Blue Earth, MN, the son of Edward and Alice (Tendall) Walker. He was a 1944 graduate of Blue Earth High School and attended the School of Agriculture in St. Paul for two years. He served in the U. S. Navy during WW II and also in the Naval Reserves. He was married to Laura Reineccius for 25 years and the couple had three children: Alene, Connie and Kenneth. Earl was later married to Mildred Schock and also later to Jeannette Danks before his marriage to Edwina Lee McCormick on March 18, 2007. Earl was a farmer for many years and was also a longtime dairyman and was a dairy tester supervisor as part of the DHSA for several years. He enjoyed reading and going to many community events such as parades, auctions and music events. Earl A. Walker is survived by his wife, Edwina Walker of Winnebago, his daughter, Alene (John) Lind, his daughter, Connie (Paul) Pearson, his son, Kenneth Walker, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are three step daughters, 4 step sons and a sister-in-law, Patty Walker.He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers-Palmer & Sherman Walker, a step-daughter, Barbara Garrett & a sister-in-law, Genevieve Walker.
