Funeral services for Roger Quaday, 84, Blue Earth, MN will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Blue Earth. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Roger died on Friday, November 28, 2014 at his home in rural Blue Earth. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 for one hour before the services in the church.Roger William Quaday was born on July 28, 1930 to Herman and Clara Martha (Krupp) Quaday in Pilot Grove Township, rural Blue Earth, MN. He was raised and educated in Pilot Grove Township. Roger farmed for a short time with his father and then started working as carpenter. On July 9, 1976 Roger was united in marriage to Cleo Jean Wilkins at the First Baptist Church in Blue Earth. Roger continued doing carpentry until his death. Roger attended First Baptist Church in Blue Earth. Roger loved to make things out of wood and was very talented at it. He enjoyed travelling and went to Florida, Arizona and Alaska just to name a few.Roger is survived by his wife, Cleo, Blue Earth, MN; one sister, Diana Biendara, Central Point, OR; several nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents.Memorial contributions are preferred to the First Baptist Church, Blue Earth, MN.
