Mrs. Dulcie Roth, age 90, of Blue Earth, died Friday, November 28, 2014, at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth, with Father Peter Klein officiating. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Visitation time will be one hour prior to services at the church. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Blue Earth is assisting the family with the arrangements. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.com Expressions of sympathy are preferred in the form of memorial donations to the SS Peter & Paul Faith Formation Youth Ministry.Dulcie was born December 7, 1923, at Tungamah, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Wilson) May. She was raised and educated in Australia before her marriage to William H. "Bill" Roth on March 14, 1945 in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. She came to America on May 17, 1946 following Bill''s service in the U.S. Army Air Corps. While the couple farmed in Arlington, MN, Dulcie earned her U.S. Citizenship on September 4, 1956. They later farmed in Hastings before coming to Blue Earth in 1967 where they owned the Kream King Drive Inn. They later owned the Dairy Queen in Armstrong, Iowa until 1998 when Dulcie returned to Blue Earth after Bill''s death. She was a longtime member of SS. Peter & Paul''s Catholic Church where she was active in various church activities through the years. Dulcie is survived by her sister, Marg (David) Sims of Australia, her sister, Elsa May of Australia, her brothers in law: Ed (Pat) Roth of Lincoln, NE, John Roth of Chino Valley, AZ, Bob (Dorothy) Roth of Hastings, MN, her sister in law, Carol Wheeler of Florida and many nieces, nephews and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Bill in 1998 and several brothers and sisters.
