KENNETH R. MORE, age 84, of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Lutz Wing Care Center in Fairmont.Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013, at 11:00 AM, at First Presbyterian Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Michael Roys & Rev. Vic Vriesen officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth and one hour prior to services at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comHe was born November 25, 1928, at Pilot Grove, MN, the son of Harmon and Rose (Olson) More. He was raised and educated in Blue Earth where he was a 1946 graduate of Blue Earth High School. Following school he continued to help farm with his dad. He was married to Delores A. Jacobson on December 11, 1949 in Bricelyn, MN. The couple continued to operate More Farm Service for many years. Ken also worked at Tafco and owned & operated Billiards and More for many years, all while farming. He was always busy working but enjoyed gardening and raising roses. He was a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church and was proud to help the Youth For Christ organization. Ken also enjoyed classical music and was an excellent cook. Delores passed in 2000 and Ken was later married to Carol J. (Ramstad) at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.Ken is survived by his wife, Carol More of Blue Earth, his son, Charles (Carol) More of Blue Earth, his son, David (Shauna) More of Winnebago, his son, Paul (Susan) More of Blue Earth, his daughter, Mary Bob) Bell of Blue Earth, his sister, Marjorie (Dalton "Dick") Poppe of Blue Earth, Carol''s children: Polly Lasley of Ft. Knox, TN, David (Darcy) Stoen of Iowa City, Iowa, Kimberly (Jon) Weber of Waterford, WI, Tony Franzen of Anderson, S.C, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife-Delores.
