EULAH LILLIAN PASCHKE, age 87, of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at United Hospital in Blue Earth. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at 11:00 AM, at Hope United Methodist in Blue Earth, with Rev. Janet Crissinger Clark officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, February 4, 2013 at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth and one hour prior to services at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comEulah Lillian (Stover) Paschke was born March 20, 1925, at Thompson, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph R. and Lillian M. (Godfrey) Stover. She attended school in Forest City, Iowa until coming to Blue Earth where she was a 1943 graduate of Blue Earth High School. Following school she worked at First National Bank in Blue Earth and then at the Bank of America in Oakland, California. She was married to Lester C. Paschke on September 28, 1946 at Salem United Methodist Church in Blue Earth; the couple enjoyed 66 years of marriage. Eulah was a homemaker and worked part time at Millers Fashions in Blue Earth for many years. She was a longtime member of Salem United Methodist Church, now Hope United Methodist, where she was active as a Sunday school teacher, youth leader and choir member. She served on the Board of Trustees and Evangelism Commission, was church treasurer, sang in the choir and was a faithful member of the United Methodist Women organization. Eulah was also a leader in Bar-Cott 4-H Club and enjoyed traveling and especially spending time with her family.Eulah is survived by her husband, Lester Paschke of Blue Earth, her daughter, Leslie Jose of Philadelphia, PA, her son, Charles (Katherine) Paschke of Denver, CO. her daughter, Joyce (David) Jose of Minneapolis, MN, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.Memorial donations will be directed to Hope United Methodist Church in memory of Eulah Paschke.
