Wayne M. Eiselt, age 87, of Blue Earth, died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013, at 11:00 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dr. Mark Wilms officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Blue Earth and one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial donations are preferred to St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center or Trinity Lutheran Church.Wayne was born June 26, 1926, in Blue Earth, the son of Frank and Nora (Schow) Eiselt. He was raised and educated in Blue Earth where he was a 1944 graduate of Blue Earth High School. He married Marianna Nichols on September 24, 1950 in Winnebago, MN. Wayne worked for over 20 years in the grocery business in Blue Earth before joining the staff at First National Bank as the Maintenance Manager and also pursuing self-employment as a construction handyman. He also served for a time as the Building Inspector for the City of Blue Earth. Wayne was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he was very active serving in various capacities including Congregation President. Wayne was a long-time member of Riverside Country Club. He enjoyed a variety of other interests including woodworking, golf, bowling and tennis.Wayne is survived by his son, Robert (Debra) Eiselt of Stillwater, his daughter, Mary (Jeffrey) Owen of Rochester, his son, Thomas (Julie) Eiselt of Charlotte, NC., nine grandchildren: John (Jill) Eiselt, Scott (Jessica) Eiselt, Jennifer (Michael) Fischer, Kristine (Andrew) Owen Katona, Michael Owen (& fiance Theora Wright), Rebecca Owen, Jack Eiselt, Joseph Eiselt, Katharine Eiselt and three great grandchildren: Logan Eiselt, Bennett Eiselt, and Eden Eiselt. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Marianna in 2010.
