Alice Myrtle Furland, age 76, of Blue Earth, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at United Hospital District.Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013, at 2:30 PM, at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, with Janet Crissinger Clark officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 1 hour before the service at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comShe was born March 16, 1937, in rural Blue Earth, the daughter of Roy B and Myrtle (Beason) Furland. She graduated from East Chain High School in 1955. She stayed on the farm south of Guckeen, where she helped care for her parents. She was an avid card player, loved doing jig-saw puzzles, gardening, but most of all enjoyed her family.She is survived by her sister, Doris Young of Blue Earth, her brother, Harold (Carolyn) Furland of Frost, her brother, Russell K. (Ruth) Furland of Albert Lea, her brother, Darrell (Karalyn) Furland of Fairmont, and numerous nieces and nephews.
