CHRISTOPHER M. BAUMANN, age 24, of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Regions Hospital in St Paul. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dr. Mark Wilms officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be one hour prior to services at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth. He was raised and educated in Blue Earth where he was a 2006 graduate of Blue Earth High School. He had muscular dystrophy for many years and worked hard to lead as normal a life as possible. He enjoyed working with computers, playing his Play Station 3 and loved watching WWE Wrestling. He enjoyed a good conversation with visitors, liked a good steak and his companion, Speedy the cat. Chris is survived by his Mother, Teresa Baumann of Blue Earth, his maternal grandmother, Barb Johnson of Fairmont, his special friend, Jay Doyle of Blue Earth, his best friend, Jeremy Petersen of Mankato, cousin, Becca Williams of Blue Earth, godmother, Penny McCloud of Wadena and several great aunts and uncles.He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Helen Hanson and maternal grandfather, Rick Torres.
