Dolores "Dolly" Engesser, age 80, of Blue Earth, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012, at 11:00 AM, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth, with Father Leo Koppala officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth and one hour prior to services at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comExpressions of sympathy are preferred in the form of donations to the Options Pregnancy Center in Fairmont.Dolores was born October 10, 1931, in Blue Earth, the daughter of Dr. Elliott and Rose (Whitcomb) Collison. She was raised and educated in Blue Earth where she was a 1949 graduate of Blue Earth High School. She was married to Richard W. Engesser on January 9, 1951 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth. "Dolly" was a homemaker who enjoyed taking walks with her husband, volunteer singing at St. Luke''s and spending time with her family. She was a lifetime member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church where she was active in the Catholic Daughters and the Council of Catholic Women. She was also a longtime advocate of the right to life for the unborn. She was truly an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed.Dolly is survived by her husband, Richard Engesser of Blue Earth, her son, Anthony (Abigail) Engesser of Fairmont, her daughter, Mary Rose (John) Pray of Wiscasset, Maine, her son, Timothy (Juliet) Engesser of SpringValley, her daughter, Lenora (Paul) Mergens of Milton, Vermont, her daughter, Margaret (Albert) Rysavy of Owatonna, her son, John Engesser of Blue Earth, her son, Joseph (Dawnelle) Engesser of Red Wing, her daughter, Nancy (Duane) Rorman of Blue Earth, her daughter, Susan (Tim) Kletscher of Benson, her brothers: Jim (Val) Collison of Mason City, IA., Vincent (Mary) Collison of Denver, CO., Joseph (Angie) Collison of Danielson, CT., Thomas (Elaine) Collison of Denver, CO., John Collison of Denver, CO., her sisters: Cathy (John) Becker of Mission Viejo, CA., Sr. Therese Collison of St. Peter, Jennie (Mike) Rantz of Green Valley, AZ., 36 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren .She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Schock, and brothers, Lawrence & Robert Collison.
