Delores "Dee" Oelke, age 77, of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Blue Earth and one hour prior to services at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.com.Dee was born April 20, 1935 at rural Emerald Township, MN the daughter of Jonas J. and Minnie A. (Meyer) Schwab. She attended Blue Earth schools and was soon married to Arthur A. Oelke on October 22, 1953 in Blue Earth. She was a homemaker raising a family for many years and had also worked at KBEW Radio as a receptionist for 14 years. She enjoyed golfing, fishing, going to the casino, antiquing, playing cards, traveling to Hawaii, Jackson Hole Wyoming and going on Cruises. Her greatest joy was being with her family and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dee is survived by her son, Bohn (Laurie) Oelke of Blue Earth, daughter, Jodell Oelke of Blue Earth, daughter, JaNell (John) Sabin of Lakeville, sister, Verla Weitzel of Blue Earth, brother, Bud (Erma) Schwab of Winnebago, sister-in-law, Charlotte Norstrud of Blue Earth, sister-in-law, LaVonne Jones of Georgia, special cousin- Sandra Giese of Fergus Falls. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Jadryn Oelke, Bart Oelke (special friend Nici Mensing), Nadia (Dustin) Lane, Nicholas Cooan (special friend Missy Huber), Braiden Zabel, Jameson Sabin (special friend Cali Klucus), Jace Sabin, and great grandchildren, Mateja & Manning Lane.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Arthur in 1994, infant son-Arthur, several brothers-in-law, cousin, Bill Giese and father and mother-in-law: Allen & Lillian Oelke.
