Darrell Zimmerman

Darrell Francis Zimmerman, age 80, of Eustis, FL (former resident of Blue Earth, MN), died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in Florida. Memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 1:30 PM at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.com.Darrell was born April 28th, 1932, in Canby, MN, the son of Thomas and Rita (Willette) Zimmerman. He has two siblings Vivian and DePaul. He went to a country school as a child, then went to Blue Earth High School. Darrell worked at Elmore Nursery and Green Giant. He married Janet Lorraine Daly on September 27th, 1954, in Fairmont, MN and worked as a trucker and a farmer. Darrell and Janet had two children, Kim Marie Jansen (Zimmerman) and James Darrell Zimmerman. Darrell was preceded in death by wife Janet and son James. He married Lynne DuMouchel in July of 2002 and relocated to Florida to live out his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, farming and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren
