ANNABELLE WENTZ, age 85, of Blue Earth, died Sunday, August 14, 2011, at United Hospital, Blue Earth.Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011, at 1:00 PM, at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, with Rev. Janet Crissinger Clark officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be one hour prior to services, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street, in Blue Earth. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comAnnabelle was born March 14, 1926, at New Castle, Nebraska, the daughter of Alfred and Sylvia (Palmer) Andersen. She was raised in the Atkinson, Nebraska area where she graduated from high school. She was married to Allen R. Wentz on June 6, 1949 in O''Neill, Nebraska. Annabelle and her late husband, Allen, owned and operated the Vienna Bakery on Blue Earth''s main street from 1953 to 1983. The couple met when they each worked at the bakery owned by Annabelle''s oldest brother in Scotland, South Dakota during WW II. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Blue Earth and had worked at the Rainbow Foods Co-op.ANNABELLE is survived by her son, Larry Wentz of Sioux City, Iowa, her grandson, Christopher Wentz (&Michelle Henshaw) , her grandson, Kelly Wentz, her step grandsons, Keenan & Quintin Crow and her great granddaughter, Ava Bell Wentz.She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Allan, Jean, Leland & Wilfred Andersen and sister, Alpha Kirkland.
