Betty Tagatz

She was born January 09, 1928, at Blue Earth, the daughter of Frank & Freida(Cordes)Bell. She graduated from Blue Earth High School and Mankato School of Cosmetology. On November. 12, 1950 she married Winston Tagatz at rural Blue Earth. They farmed briefly and then moved to Blue Earth, where she owned Betty''s Beauty Shop. Winston owned & operated Phillip''s 66 bulk oil Co. Survivors include: her Husband, Winston Tagatz , Blue Earth, her Sons, Mark (Deb) Tagatz ,Alexandria, MN, Steven Tagatz , Elko, NV , Grandchildren, Elizabeth & Michael Tagatz , Sisters, Clarice (Ed) Burke, Rochester, Priscilla(David)Sohn,Long Lake, Brother-in-law, Wally(Charlotte)Tagatz, Rochester, Sister-in-law, Kathryn Tagatz, Blue Earth, many nieces & nephews that were very special to her. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials are preferred to United Hands Hospice or St.PaulLutheran Church in Blue Earth.
