Elaine Hagedorn

Elaine was born September 11, 1919, at Blue Earth Mn., the daughter of Charles & Mary Mensing.Elaine was raised and educated in Blue Earth where she attended schools. She was married to Floyd "Pete" Hagedorn on September 18, 1937 in Winnebago, MN. Elaine was a homemaker and worked at Telex Corporation. for several years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was active in Luhtheran Women''s Missionary League and sang in choir for many years. She also enjoyed knitting and bridge club. Elaine and Floyd spent many winters in Mesa, Arizona, where she also an active member of Eternal Life Lutheran Church and sang in the choir.Elaine is survived by her husband, Floyd Hagedorn of Blue Earth, son, Roger (& wife Pat) Hagedorn of Ft. Pierce, Florida, son, Richard (& wife Linda) Hagedorn of Ft. Pierce, Florida, son, Thomas (& wife Karen) Hagedorn of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and daughter, Susan Wertjes of Broad Run, Virginia, Elaine has one living brother, Carl Mensing of Austin, Texas, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers and sisters and a son, Mark in 1968.
