Gladys Louise Quint, age 80, of Blue Earth, died Monday April 18, 2005, at Parker Oaks, Winnebago, MN. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2005, at 2:00 PM, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth., with Rev. John Otte officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street, in Blue Earth and one hour prior to the services at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.com.Gladys was born May 16, 1924 in Pleasant Mound Township, Blue Earth County, MN. to Herman and Lydia (Engel) Zellmer. She attended St. John?s Parochial and Public Schools of Pleasant Mound Township. She married Harold Quint and later divorced. She was employed at Telex Corporation in Blue Earth for 25 years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Altar Guild, Martha Guild, and Lutheran Women?s Assn. Gladys performed numerous volunteer activities including Meals on Wheels and was a weekly greeter at the United Hospital. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, crafts, dancing, gardening, baking, and furniture refinishing.Gladys is survived by one daughter, Marjeanne Scheff & fianc? Jon Rusk of Newton, Ia., two sons, Randy & wife, Denise of Rochester, Thom of Irving, Tx. Gladys? oldest daughter, Jillayne Engel of Montrose, Mi, preceded her in death in April 2001. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister Mildred & Husband, Ervin Prill of Bloomington, and her life long best friend, Viola Morrison of Amboy. Memorials are preferred to United Hands Hospice in Blue Earth.
