Clara Wells

Clara was born February 7, 1919, at rural Blue Earth, the daughter of Paul and Emelie Bertha (Pirsig) Nimz.She was raised and educated in Blue Earth where she was a 1937 graduate of Blue Earth High School. She was baptized on February 22, 1919 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore and later confirmed there on May 15, 1932. She was married to Carroll F. Wells on October 12, 1937 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore. The couple farmed southwest of Blue Earth for many years. Clara was a wonderful wife and mother. She was very active in her church and community and enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting, gardening and spending time with her family. Clara worked seasonally for many years at Green Giant in Blue Earth.Clara is survived by her daughter, Carna (& husband Frank) Sinkula of Apple Valley, daughter, Clarice Wells of Blue Earth, grandchildren: Scott App of Stoughton, Wisconsin, Dale App of Rosemount, Brian Sinkula of Roseville, Eric Sinkula of Minneapolis, great grandchildren Tonya App & Christopher App of Rosemount and Haley App of Stoughton, Wisconsin and other relatives and many friends. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1989, daughter-CarolynWells and brother- Herman Nimz
