O. Blanche Wells

Blanche was born June 20, 1924, at Blue Earth, Mn. the daughter of Oswald and Sylvia (Hamre) Northwick.Blanche was a lifetime resident of Blue Earth, graduating from Blue Earth High School in 1942. She was married to Glenn Wells on September 18, 1949 in Blue Earth. She was a homemaker and had worked as a bookkeeper for the Blue Earth Creamery, seasonally with Green Giant and as a school lunch aide at the Blue Earth Area Schools. Blanche was a lifetime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, serving the church in many capacities. She also served with the American Red Cross Bloodmobile and was a longtime member of the Blue Earth VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary, holding most every office in each organization.Blanche is survived by her husband, Glenn Wells of Blue Earth, sons: Geary (& wife Cindy) Wells of Blue Earth, Brian (& wife Terri) Wells of Blue Earth, Craig (& wife Linda) Wells of Blue Earth, daughters: January (& husband Alan) Mino of Crystal Lake, Illinois, and Kristine (& husband Scott) Nelson of Andover, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Theodore (& wife Joyce) Northwick of Rosemount, sister, Ramona (& husband Jerry) Teig of Truman, sister, Kay (& husband Darryl) Germann of Blue Earth, brother-in-law, Verne (& Roberta) Wells of Baxter, sisters-in-law, Janis Northwick of Blue Earth and Marvis Northwick of Blue Earth.
