She was born January 21, 1918, at Fairmont, the daughter of Aloyisus "Allie" and Laura (Anderman) Muth.She was raised and educated in Fairmont where she was a 1936 graduate of Fairmont High School. She was married to Herman M. Thompson on February 15, 1941 in Fairmont. Following their marriage the couple moved near Frost where they farmed for a few years before moving to Rake, Iowa in 1944. The couple farmed near Rake from 1949 to 1974. Lucille also worked at various other jobs not on the farm, including with Green Giant, Central Graphics and at the Rake Cafe. They retired to Blue Earth in 1974, where Lucille became a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was a hardworker, loved to travel and was an active member of her church.Lucille is survived by her daughter, Karen Asmus of Blue Earth, daughter, Barbara (& husband Gerald) Siebenmorgen of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, daughter, Betty Nicholson of Denver, Colorado, son, Richard (& wife Michele) Thompson of Rake, Iowa, sister, Dorothy Schwen of Blue Earth, sister-in-law, Esther Muth of Phoenix, brother-in-law, Donald Thompson of Kerrville, Texas, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and several niece & nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Herman in 2002, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and 2 sons-in-law
