Marylynn Bissonette

Marylynn was born March 12, 1925, at Prescott Township, MN, the daughter of George A. and Loretta E. (Gorman) Bissonette.Marylynn was raised and educated in Mapleton where she graduated from Mapleton High School. She atteneded Dale Institute in Minneapolis and began working for the FCC. She later became an air traffic controller and was with the Federal Aviation Administration for over 34 years before her retirment in 1981. She had lived in Minneapolis, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Gulva, North Dakota and retired from Detroit, Michigan. Marylynn loved bowling and was a member of many bowling leagues and associations such as: TnC Ladies Senior House League, Winnebago Womens Bowling Association, Sparette League, Blue Buc League and was a 25 year member of the Women''s International Bowling Congress & Hall of Fame, and the Tri City, Michigan Women''s Hall of Fame. Marylynn held several offices in most of these organizations. She was also a member of the SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth, where she was active in the Catholic Daughters of America.She is survived by 4 brothers, Arthur Bissonette of Dayton, Ohio, Edward Bissonette of Hugo, Bernard (& wife Peggy) Bissonette of Blaine, Mark (& wife Susan) Bissonette of Stewartville and several nieces & nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters-in-law: Betty and Dorothy Bissonette.
