Lois Demske

Lois K. Demske was born October 31, 1911 in Dixon, Illinois the daughter of William and Marie (Oesterheld) Ankeny. She graduated from Delavan High School and worked for a few years in the Blue Earth area before returning to Dixon, Illinois. She lived in Dixon for many years where she worked at J.C. Penney Co. Following her retirement from Penney?s she returned to Blue Earth in 1980. She was married to Roy Demske on April 25, 1983 in Mesa, Arizona. Roy died on February 26, 1994. Lois was a lifelong member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries. Lois is survived by her brother: Raymond ?Buss? (& wife Audrey) Ankeny of Blue Earth, sisters-in-law: June Ankeny & Audrey Ankeny of Blue Earth and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers: Bob, John, Charles Clayton ?Buddy? and V. Scott Ankeny, and an infant sister, Margaret Jean Ankeny.
